Questions about ai agents & bots
What is the difference between an AI chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot primarily responds in a conversation. An agent can also use approved tools to carry out defined steps, such as creating a draft record or routing an enquiry. Permissions and human approval should match the consequences of each action.
Can an assistant answer using our own company information?
An assistant can be grounded in approved documents or knowledge sources. We scope how that information is supplied, kept current and checked, and what the assistant should do when an answer is unavailable.
How do you evaluate an AI assistant before launch?
A project should include representative questions and workflow cases, expected answers or actions, failure scenarios and escalation rules. Evaluation helps identify limitations; it cannot guarantee that every future response will be correct.
